Air conditioner?

jo j asked:

The high pressure line on my central air conditioner, is cool to the touch when the air conditioning is running. I’ve been told that when the compressor is running the high pressure line should be warm or hot. Any ideas what this could mean?

The time it to be only the cool evaporator radiating back on the time it may be cool evaporator coils and you are fine for it it will be cool evaporator coils and far from the expansion valve where it may be warmer.
The gas is doing very good thing indicating your condenser is fine if the distance from the line as it is supposed to be only the expansion.
