How to control existing HVAC blowerfan to distribute heat from an add-on outdoor wood furnace?
Filed Under HVAC | Comments Off
Stephen asked:
I want to install an outdoor woodburning furnace and use the duct lines that were installed with my HVAC system. The add-on furnace would provide heat by placing a heat exchanger ( radiator ) in the existing duct work. I need info on how to control the existing blower fan so that it can be used for the HVAC and the ADD-ON. Thanks for any info.

jeff c asked:
im looking into getting certified in HVAC. what is the difference from the HVAC certification, from the EPA 608 type 1 certification? are they the same thing? I have a huge knowledge of residential construction and remodeling but haven’t a clue about HVAC besides how the system works and also how to recharge a common AC unit. some clarification on the subject would be much obliged.
Thanks

Would it be successful if an electrician or HVAC contractor handed out business cards for Halloween with candy?

Jeff asked:
I’m an electrician, and my neighbor is an HVAC contractor. This Halloween, if we each placed a business card along with candy into each trick-or-treater’s bag, would that be a good way to drum up business for ourselves? The kids would eat the candy, and give the business cards to their parents to keep.

How much will a dealer charge to reprogram my newly installed HVAC head?

Edward B asked:
Installed everything myself, but it needs to be reprogramed. I have already invested $500 to them to replace everything and still it did not work. Finally they told me it was the HVAC head and it would 575 more. I found one and installed it, but it needs to be reprogramed. Any idea on price?
