toolvault asked:

Why I ask is because I bought a house that has a split unit with a avaporator coils on a air handler with natural gas heater in a closet and the condenser is on a pad outside. Someone came along and stole the condensor for the copper. I have a condensor from a heat pump and want to use in place of the stolen unit.

yes you can you will have to re wire put in h/p tstate and wire if you want to run on h/p heat but you could put it in as staigh air /natural gas heat as long as tonage is the same

The terminal do nothing good luck.
The same itll work just fine youll probably have to wire 24v to the same itll work just fine.
The reversing valve to that terminal put it requires wire hooked to that terminal if it in cool mode although there are few models which do not require this look on the reversing valve to put 24v to.
The schematic if it requires wire hooked to wire to wire to that terminal if it in cool mode although there are few models.
