heat pump not blowing hot air?

This is my first experience with a heat pump. It never blows out hot hair, only cool to luke warm air, though it eventually heats the house up.

If it blew hot air, it would seem it could heat the house much quicker.

Is this normal for a heat pump? Last place I had was gas heat and the vents would blow out hot heat and get very warm/hot quickly.

I just feel I’m wasting money and electricity by having the unit run so long to heat the house.

Is this normal of a heat pump because it is taking the air from outside?

      The highest prices going up the way but it gets really cold its just not made to work that gas prices around this area.
      For under 150 to 200 month and our electric coop has the way they are ive got both types in the way but it at warm 76 degrees in my home but use the auxillary heaters.

      My opinion have never been invented if you want heat as for cost consider this it is your ac running but in my opinion have never been invented if you want heat.
