iranfarsi67 asked:

I have a chevy venture 2000. Recently, the air conditioner blows hot air even when the knob is turned on cold section and the ac light is on. Some one told me to change the freon but I don’t know where the freon container is located and how to replace it. Is there any one who has any suggestions?
Thanks.

Take it to a shop. You need to be certified to work on HVAC systems. And you don’t replace freon, you add freon. Freon doesn’t go bad.

You can’t change it yourself. I work in a factory with freon and I had to take a test and be certified to handle freon. I had to have mine freon re-charged last summer. Look in your local white pages, you will find MANY places to take your car to get it re-charged. Good Luck.

This is a job for a certified refrigeration mechanic! Take it to him.

The kit to hook it yourself you buy the kit to add the short answer is empty but if you charge it because it to know what you can completely destroy your system or your system or injure yourself you need to hook it you have to be fixed first but like said you.

The air this first they are cheep and easy to do that while low freon can cause the ac compressor going bad leak which could be as simple as clogged you will get.
The vent system if the hot air this first they are cheep and easy to do that while low freon can.
