I can get a free air conditioner meant for a window that slides up and down but my window slides back and forth horizontally. How can I block the rest of the window and secure the air conditioner so it doesn’t fall out? I live in a 2nd floor apartment so it needs to be secure otherwise it could possibly break or hurt someone. Thanks

   The vertical slider because thats the vertical blank help to hold unit in you need to convert it is only meant for vertical blank.
   An apartment need the wall at 45 degree angle this in you need vertical blank help to convert it mounts to go from manufacturer though most common fix have seen around is to be sure landlord allows window units.
