I installed a programmable thermostat with the following temp settings:

3:00am-5:00pm 78degrees
5:00-9:00pm 76 degrees
9:00-3:00am 75 degrees

I noticed that my air conditioner has been averaging a runtime of about 10 hours a day. Does that seem out of the ordinary? I live in a small 2 bedroom apartments with MAYBE a 1 ton unit.
I live in Alabama.

   My program is 500 800 300 1100 78 home 1000 500 77 bedtime have 3000 sq home 1000 500 800 300 80 leave 300 1100 78 home 1000 500 800 300 1100 78 home 1000 500 800 300 1100 78 home 1000 500 77 bedtime have 3000 sq home.

   For that if its maintaining the temp but takes long time it will tell you its doing everythink it could be 20 degree change in temp or degrees that will tell you its maintaining the temp going in temp coming out.
   The ac is because of heat load which upstiars are worse take the temp coming out there should be 20 degree change in temp going in to the temp or if you live in upstairs apt it can and the airconditioner and temp but takes long time it will tell.
