How to find a good HVAC service company?

I hired one and he told me I need a brand new unit, I had found out he lied by testing the items he told me are bad. I ran the heater, and set CO detectors in several areas, days after, still display “0″ reading, but he told me, my heater is bad and will pump CO into the house? Where and how I can find a trustable one?

      The first one was right if he thought you had faultycracked heat exchanger it could take while for co to build upit is not worth the risk.
