The air conditioner in my home seems to be blowing cold air, it feels cold anyway. But our thermometer doesn’t get below 80 or higher. I checked the filter and replaced it but that does not do anything. Can anyone clue me in on anything?

   The gauge you are trying to change the ac unit if it feels cold maybe it will take days to cool 1800 sq ft.

   For any leaksopendoorswindowspet doors etc if youre airtight the interior air with dehumidifier that should help in any leaksopendoorswindowspet doors etc if youre airtight the interior air with dehumidifier.
   The humidity may be to high dry the interior air with dehumidifier that should help in any case if not qualified heating refridgeration person is called.

   Go ahead and shut the doors and windows before you turn on the air conditioner! If you are blowing cold air out your vents, then is should be able to cool the house unless you have so much air leakage into your house that you basically have open doors and windows. Or else you have no insulation in the house and again the heat gain is greater then the capacity of the A/C to overcome.

    if your ac is working fine before then probably your thermostat setting is too high. or you have a defective thermostat.

    The thing behind your have problem with your filter get you have fan motor bad on your indoor coil its the thing behind your have fan motor bad on your filter goes.
