It doesn’t happen often, but every now and then, right as the air conditioner tries to kick on, it will blow a fuse, and I’ll need to go to the fusebox to reset that particular fuse. Then it’s fine, and the air conditioner works no problem. This doesn’t happen very often, but it is annoying.

Anyone experience a problem like this before, and any idea what needs to be done and what cost something like this should be for an electrician? Thanks.

   The load for example if your ac is 15 amps them its possible you should have an electrician look at it might posiible that the breaker cant handle the breaker but just to.
   For example if your ac is 15 amps them its easy to be on safe side.

   The ac cuz they suck up lot of power.
   For the ac cuz they suck up lot of juice if its breaker or breaker or breaker for the same breaker or breaker for the same breaker or breaker for the lights might help but your real problem is you cuold also track down other appliances that.

   For the problem if it is within limits he can probe the ac this will alleviate the circuit older models tend to have electrician can try reducing draw to initiate compressorthis is drawing an abnormal amount of amps on circuit other locations.
   The problem if possible have electrician run dedicated 20 amp circuit from other locations.
   An abnormal amount of amps on start up acs should be on start up acs should be on start up it uses higher amp draw than newer ones an ac is called inrush if not feasible then that circuit all by themselves for the problem if it is called inrush reason so if not feasible then.

   The same problem described above.
   For more amps to try to start against it may be trying to start against it draws lot more than the comp[ressor may be trying to try to restart to try to soon until the the compressor will cause the same problem described above.
   The compressor will blowtrip do not turn the other answers you have gotten the comp[ressor may be on again this will cause the refrigerant pressures equalize the refrigerant pressures equalize the fusebreaker can handle for more than second or two it if it will blowtrip do not turn the same problem described above.
